    Clip art

    The term "clip art" seems a bit quaint in this day of Google image searches.  Certainly, the Library asks that you not take a pair of scissors and clip out the images you want from books checked out from the us.  Take a look at these recent versions of clip art collections, many with CDs of digital files of the art, for inspiration, a dash of period flavor, or a shorthand visual reference to include in your project.  In order to help you find easy to use image resources, just search {clip art} under {all words} in our catalog. Here are just a few examples:
