Watkins Library is proud of our cooperative agreement with the Fisk Universiy John Hope and Aurelia E. Franklin Library located less than ten minutes away from the Watkins campus. The Fisk Library houses over 200,000 books, various special collections documenting the African-American experience, and the Aaron Douglas Collection. Parking is free; Just present your Watkins ID at the Fisk Library’s checkout counter for registration.

Search Nashville Public Library
Students are encouraged to utilize the great resources of the Nashville Public Library. Besides access to their vast collection of books, DVDs, and music, NPL offers the convenience of delivery to the Looby Branch located across Rosa Parks from Watkins. On-campus students can obtain a public library card by presenting a personal ID, such as your driver’s license, passport, or learner’s permit, proof of home address, and proof of your current address on campus.
